The Boot Room Company martingale collars are perfect if you'd like your dog's collar to be snug when they are on a lead, so that it can't go over their ears, but a little more loose when they are off it. It is designed to tighten only a limited amount when your dog pulls.
Like our clip collars, they are made from marine rope and whipping cord. The O-rings, split ring and dog tag, with our very own Boot Room Company Lab engraved and beautifully hand painted in enamel, are made from solid brass.

Our collars are custom made, so measure your dog's neck below the ears and then add a couple of centimetres so that it isn't too snug. Our martingale collars will tighten to the measurement that you send us, so make sure that that measurement will still be comfortable for your dog.
For dogs, with a collar measurement of over 40cm, we recommend 10mm rope and for smaller dogs the 8mm rope.
If ordering a lead, be sure to match the rope thickness with your collar.
